i have been having lucid dreams for quite a while now. i snap out sleep quite first. sort of sensitive when sleeping even though im dreaming. im kinda aware im dreaming most of the time. have problems attaining a satisfactory sleep. what causes lucid dreams? is there help
As far as I know, there's no link between lucid dreams and mental health issues. However, there is with not getting into a deep REM sleep. In other words, you are not sleeping deeply. Maybe something is bothering you? Or, it's too much caffeine? The more obvious answers usually are the answer.
No, it just means you are one lucky sod lol.
I've only had one or two lucid dreams and they are just incredible. Everything looks so vivid and colourful, I wish I could live in a lucid dream.
Not sure what causes them, but I guess you have a good awareness about things that seem out of place. For example, in real life if you see a pink elephant cross the street, you'd think that pretty odd and would probably pinch yourself to see if you were dreaming. In a dream state you would usually just accept the pink elephant as normal. But in your case, you obviously still question the strange and unusual things that happen in dreams which is why you probably have lucid dreams.
Also if you practice meditation, this can enhance the chance of having lucid dreams.
Whether you believe it or not, we all have a soul/or spirit within our physical body's. In the "Lucid" state - This is when our spirit travels at times.

No, you do Not have mental problems. Your Spirit IS NOT at rest over something. Search this out more closely. Stop and just think about your life and the things that are most important to you right now at this time in your life. What is going on with it/or those things that you are not at rest/or peace with? Here you will find the true answer. From this point do what YOU can to come to peace with what-ever it is.

You can be part of a sleep study. Doctors and scientists are always looking for new studies to learn more about the mind. Lucid dreams aren't harmful unless you are sleep-walking and risk harming yourself. Either way, you should see a doctor.
i don't know much about it, but it seems like maybe you're just not sleeping very well or deeply, and that's why you keep having the lucid dreams. i've only had a few, and i always enjoyed them.
